Best spots on the Garden Route – A Happy Camper Review

‘What are the best spots to see when travelling the Garden Route?’ If we got a campervan for every time we’ve been asked this question, then I think we could take part in a Chasing Africa tour every month!

However, along comes a happy camper named Serge Gration, who takes our Happy 1 on an epic 18 day tour throughout the Garden Route and parts of the Eastern Cape, and gives us the down-low on the best spots on his journey. We definitely think he’s onto something…..

1) Angie’s G-Spot

Serge’s Review: Behind Prince Alfred’s Pass, super random, close to nature

Our Review: A firm favourite for thirsty bikers with amazing burgers including their ‘Roadkill Burger’.

Top Tip: Take a swim in the river while enjoying a beer or 2

4) Victoria Bay Caravan Park

Serge’s Review: Victoria Bay, super camp site right on cliffs above the beach

Our Review: Probably the best setting on the east coast, friendly staff & management that go out of their way to assist.
